Rewind

Rewind helps you control intrusive and negative memories. Practice the Rewind technique at least 30 times until it becomes automatic. The benefit is that you can put your mind into a place where you feel better.

Imagine yourself in a movie theatre watching the screen. Now imagine yourself sitting in the back row watching yourself looking at the screen! The movie is about something bad that happened to you.

Imagine starting the movie from a good place and run it to the painful end. Now rewind the movie to the good place before the disturbing event, where we you feel OK. Practice rewinding the movie at an increasing pace until it only takes a few seconds to rewind and the movie becomes blurred.
